Oh Boy Records to Release Dan Reeder’s  Nobody wants to be you. on November 10 Today,  Oh Boy Records  announces the upcoming release of  Dan Reeder ’s newest project,  Nobody wants to be you .  on  November 10 . The five-song EP will be distributed by Thirty Tigers and was produced by Reeder himself. Nobody wants to be you.  marks Reeder’s fourth release on Oh Boy Records, a relationship formed after Reeder sent a burned CD to John Prine in the early 2000’s. Prine listened, signed Reeder to his label, toured with him four times, and released all three of Reeder’s previous records:  Dan Reeder  (2004), Sweetheart  (2005), and  This New Century  (2009). The new health care plan being proposed will not protect Americans from having premiums so high they can't pay them nor does it protect people with pre-existing conditions.  There is a clause in that BILL that will let the states decide if it will protect it's residents.  It will cost each state a lot of money to keep it so most states will waiver out of it leaving the sick to care for itself without the benefit of medical insurance.   DOMINO EFFECT This will lead to bankruptcies, parents not getting medical attention when they need it so they may die. Montgomery - Gentry  This has been confirmed by their record company.  This is sadly real news. It is with great sadness that we confirm that Troy Gentry, half of the popular country duo, Montgomery Gentry, was tragically killed in a helicopter crash which took place at approximately 1:00pm today in Medford, New Jersey.  The duo was scheduled to perform tonight at the Flying W Airport & Resort in Medford. Troy Gentry was 50 years old.  Details of the crash are unknown. Troy Gentry's family wishes to acknowledge all of the kind thoughts and prayers, and asks for privacy at this time.

Dave Hlubek Bobby Ingram announced on his Facebook page tonight that they lost a much loved band member.  Here is the post. "It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of our beloved friend and band member Dave Hlubek. Dave was one of the founding lead guitarists of Molly Hatchet . Amongst his many contributions to southern rock is "Flirtin' with Disaster." Our condolences and our prayers go out to his family during this time of loss. He will be missed but never forgotten, as the music lives on through his legacy in Molly Hatchet." Hlubek’s death, which comes days after his 66th birthday, follows that of Banner Thomas, the band’s former bassist who died in April at the age of 63.
