'Oktoberfest' in Thompson Station Will Benefit Two Nonprofits

Nashville, TN 10/27/2016  Come on out to this family event this Saturday at Thompson's Station Park benefiting the Alzheimer's Mid-South Chapter and the Gauge Stevens diabetic alert dog fund. There will be plenty of things for the family to do and wonderful live music.  Thompson Station Park The Third Coast Music “Oktoberfest 2016” will be held on Saturday, October 29th, at the Thompson’s Station Park, from 9am to 5pm. This year’s music festival is benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association Mid-South Chapter and the Gauge Stevens Diabetic Dog Fund. Glen Campbell during his final tour! Halli Casser-Jayne delivers a riveting heart-wrenching interview with Travis Campbell, Debby Campbell-Cloyd who are the adult children of Glen Campbell.  Campbell was diagnosed in 2011 with Alzheimer's and shortly thereafter, he embarked on a farewell tour that was filmed so footage could be used in a documentary, "I'll Be Me."   You can hear that interview HERE! Glen Campbell diagnose with Alzheimer's in 2011 September is  WORLD Alzheimer's Awareness month and the Halli Casser-Jayne show is airing a Special 2 part series about Alzheimer's disease and the affects it has on modern day families.  This special focuses on some celebrity families and the special guests are Travis Campbell, Debby Campbell-Cloyd, Tanya Tucker, Catherine Falk, Senator Rusty Crowe and Patty Davis.   Travis and Debby are the adult children of Glen Campbell who fought for the ability to see their father without permission and restrictions.  Tanya Tucker supported them through that journey.  Campbell Falk Bill become a law in May of 2016 Catherine Falk who is the daughter of the late actor Peter Falk initiated the Campbell Falk Bill which with the help of Elder/Guardian Abuse Advocates and many others, passed into law in May of 2016.   Senator Rusty Crowe is the politician who helped get this bill passed into law.  The Se...

Glen Campbell kids need help to see their Dad whenever they want

A Young Glen Campbell Alzheimer's not only takes away the rights of the person afflicted, very often it takes away the rights of that person's children as it has in the case of Glen Campbell and his adult children.
