Bonnie Brown Bonnie Brown Ring, one- third of one of Country  Music’s most enduring  family groups as a member  of The Browns, passed  away earlier today (July 16 )  at Baptist Hospital in Little  Rock, Arkansas following  complications from lung  cancer. She was 77 years  old. Born July 31, 1938 in Sparkman, Arkansas, Brown  became enamored wit h music at an early age thanks to the exposure  she had to it from watching her older siblings, Maxine and  James Edward. The two performed together, earning a hit in  1954 with “Looking Back To See.” Upon her graduation from  high school, Bonnie joined her siblings, expanding their duet  into a trio. They began performing together on  The  Louisiana Hayride  on KWKH in  Shreveport, which led to appearances on  ABC-TV’s Ozark Jubilee. Chet Atkins and  RCA came calling soon after, and the  Browns found themselves on the chart  with hits such as “I Take The Chance” and  “I Heard The Blue

Joey & Rory on one of their trips out west Rory Feek and his precious daughters went on vacation out west and chronicle it by video.  This family continues to inspire.  Rory created the video for all us that have followed the family's journey to enjoy.  He has included his beloved wife Joey by adding a song she is singing lead too  in the video.   This man continues to honor his wife by learning to live again and raising their daughter the way she would have wanted, with love, understanding and kisses, lots of kisses.   Click here to see the video!! LITTLE RIVER BAND (LRB) The  Little River Band  releases  lyric video  for their song,  “Forever You, Forever Me,”  on YouTube according to  Artists International Management  today June 29, 2016. Their PR agency I.T.S. Promotions tells Examiner that the band shared the video with their newly established fan club first. This feel good song is very much true to Little River Band’s roots with a sound that can cross over into several genres of music. The song actually fits very nicely into today’s contemporary country sound. In fact, four of the band members live in Nashville and are songwriters who are often seen around town when not on tour. The album,  “Cuts Like a Diamond,”  was recorded in Nashville and while many of the tracks a reminiscent of the authentic Little River Band sound, there is definitely a hip and current country vide on many of the tracks.
