COUNTRY MUSIC HALL OF FAME MEMBER BONNIE BROWN DIES AT 77

Bonnie Brown Bonnie Brown Ring, one- third of one of Country  Music’s most enduring  family groups as a member  of The Browns, passed  away earlier today (July 16 )  at Baptist Hospital in Little  Rock, Arkansas following  complications from lung  cancer. She was 77 years  old. Born July 31, 1938 in Sparkman, Arkansas, Brown  became enamored wit h music at an early age thanks to the exposure  she had to it from watching her older siblings, Maxine and  James Edward. The two performed together, earning a hit in  1954 with “Looking Back To See.” Upon her graduation from  high school, Bonnie joined her siblings, expanding their duet  into a trio. They began performing together on  The  Louisiana Hayride  on KWKH in  Shreveport, which led to appearances on  ABC-TV’s Ozark Jubilee. Chet Atkins and  RCA came calling soon after, and the  Browns found themselves on the chart  with hits such as “I Take The Chance” and  “I Heard The Blue

Keith Urban's Dad has died

Keith Urban and his dearly departed father Bob Keith Urban has announced to the world that his Dad Bob has passed away after a long battle with cancer.  He passed away on December 5, 2015 just days after entering hospice.  Urban said this just the other day:  Last week while Urban was at his Country Music Hall of Fame exhibit, he revealed that his father was ill and only had a short time to live.  This is what he said: “I've just been dealing with that the last couple of days,  This has all come at a very strange time where it's typical of a career that has extreme highs and extreme lows all often at the exact same time. So this exhibit is bittersweet a little bit because my dad is the catalyst for all of this. My dad is the catalyst for me living in America."  Today, Urban released a statement thanking fans for their love and support.  "I've been deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support that Nic and I, and our family, have received since

Joey & Rory: Joey's will to live

Joey spends time with her baby daughter Indiana GOD gave them Thanksgiving. Rory updated everyone today about he and his wife and her current situation.  They discussed just how much they should let people see into this journey.  They have decided that they are going to share it all, the good, "the bad and the beauty," says Rory.   Joey has had some really good days lately although she can no longer get out of bed.  Rory says she is sharp and alert.  She is fighting to beat the cancer and if will alone can be a cure, she will have it beat.   Keep praying for a miracle for this lady that wants so badly to live.
